Plot
Gov. Sinha's adopted son Sahil (Bobby Deol) is in love with Isha (Kajol), whose father Ishwar Diwan (Paresh Rawal) is the P.A. to the Governor. On the other hand, Meghnath Chaudhary's daughter Sheetal (Manisha Koirala) has desire for Sahil. On the occasion of Sahil's birthday party, Gov. Sinha announces Sahil's engagement with Sheetal. After a verbal clash between Sahil and Gov. Sinha, an enraged Sahil holds a knife at his father but draws back after being confronted by his mother (Priya Tendulkar).
